About Us

Since increasing the recyclables we have introduced Plastics, Electrical Goods,
Bubblewrap, Shrinkwrap (Palletwrap) and good clean plastics of different types, also
all metals, electrical and electronic items, white goods and IT goods, plus the
obvious paper and cardboard.

Quantity is not an issue for us, we are quite happy to collect small quantities and
actively encourage companies to share a collection when they don’t have enough to
warrant having it on their own.

One thing that makes us different is that we want to save the client money over just
dumping their wastes, one car smash repairer is saving up to $3000 per annum by
recycling.

A lot of the recyclables are taken directly to a recycling centre, the remainder
(estimated at 200 tonnes per annum) is brought back here for separating and
processing, the materials are then sent to processing plants for using in making new
products.

A free survey of a company’s wastes and advice on recycling is available to those
wishing to improve their recycling, alternatively if somebody has a product/material
that they would like recycled they should contact us and we will pursue avenues to
try and achieve this

The Shadow Environment Minister, who officially opened the facility on February 12,
2016, welcomed the new waste recycling plant.

“It’s exciting to see a world-class, efficient and environmentally responsible approach
to waste management being introduced right here in the Bundaberg region,” he said.
“We are seeing an increasing number of people recycling in their homes and businesses and this new plant will hopefully encourage more local businesses to
jump on board and adopt environmentally friendly measures in their workplace.

“I congratulate A2Z Waste Recycling on expanding its reach to Bundaberg.  It’s a
win for the environment and it’s a win for Bundaberg.

“Recycling can and does make a real difference to our environment.”
